Neale, Cannonau di Sardegna Doc, made by the great winemakers of Cantina di Orgosolo.
Neale completes the fermentation and ages in steel containers for 6 months, then bottled for at least 3 months.
The period of the harvest varies slightly depending on the season and in any case it is between the 3rd week of September and the 1st of October.
The grapes are harvested by hand and, in a few hours, worked in the cellar with the help of tools and equipment and subjected to a gentle treatment, aimed at obtaining high quality wines. All the processing, including bottling, are taken care of directly by the members.
The blend used for the production of Neale is as follows: 85% cannonau and Bovale for the remaining 15%. The Bovale used is the muristellu, an autochthonous vine, as has been proven by recent studies carried out by authoritative researchers.
It is a fresh wine to drink immediately, less structured than its bigger brother Urùlu, but retains great qualities of quality. All the processing of the product, including bottling, is taken care of directly by the members.
