The “Kariasa” Extra Dry Sparkling Wine represents an authorial encounter between Sardinia's great winemaking tradition and the unique terroir of the Gallura region. The production philosophy and contemporary vision of Cantina Murales are expressed through this label with an innovative, sophisticated and unconventional interpretation of the island's sparkling wine tradition, resulting in a sparkling rosé with a distinctly eclectic, intriguing and characterful personality. Every glass tells the authentic story of a territory that is both rugged and generous, where the salty Mediterranean winds caress the hillside vineyards near Olbia, leaving an unmistakable mineral signature on the grapes selected for this refined wine.

The sophisticated production process begins with a rigorous selection of grape bunches in the vineyard, followed by extremely careful cellar management that respects the raw material. After gentle and gradual pressing of the grapes, designed to extract only the noblest fraction of free-run juice while preserving maximum delicacy in colour and aroma, the wine undergoes its second fermentation. The sparkling wine production is carried out using the long Charmat Method in pressurised tanks, followed by a controlled resting and maturation period on the lees for 6 months. This extended contact refines the wine's structure, ensuring a delicate and silky body while also giving it expressive persistence and sensory stability uncommon among Sardinian rosé sparkling wines.

Visually, Kariasa stands out for its exceptionally elegant appearance, characterised by a delicate and bright candy-pink hue, enhanced by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it reveals a captivating aromatic dynamism: delicate floral scents of rosebud and fruity hints of small red berries, particularly morello cherry, blend with subtle and pleasantly bitter herbal notes, creating a fresh and layered bouquet for this Sardinian sparkling wine.

On the palate, the opening reveals a soft touch typical of the dosage of an Extra Dry sparkling wine, which is then balanced by a vibrant acidic freshness. The sip develops with agility and smoothness, finishing with a clean and subtle aftertaste that invites another sip. With an alcohol content of 11% Vol., this wine makes gastronomic versatility one of its greatest strengths. It is an excellent bottle, designed both as a refined aperitif sparkling wine and to accompany an entire meal. It pairs particularly well with fish appetisers, vegetarian dishes, Margherita pizza and the flavours of Asian fusion cuisine, offering an authentic tasting experience.
