CARIGNANO: The production of this characteristic wine is almost entirely concentrated in Sulcis, a region between the last mountain slopes of southwestern Sardinia and the sea. Probably the Phoenicians, founders of the ancient Solci on the island of Sant'Antioco, introduced this vine in Sardinia.
