The resort "Peddio" is located in the heart of one of the most renowned olive growing areas of western Sardinia: the "Montiferru". In this area, on the terraced hills sometimes high about 250 meters above sea level, the olive trees extend their roots in clay-limestone soils of basaltic origin, beaten by the sun and lapped by the mistral winds that the proximity of the sea makes it moist and temperate.

The Extra Virgin olive oil "Peddio" is the product of a long and painstaking work of the Company Peddio, which has a long tradition in the production of oil.

The Company Peddio, whose name comes from the place where you will find the land planted with olive trees, personally carry out all stages of the production of this oil extra virgin olive oil. In their land to organic farming are followed different stages of maturation of the olive, the cultivar Bosana, which is followed by mechanical harvesting with the latest equipment that the company has. Within a few hours, the olives are pressed at the oil company as security and authenticity of the product. As a last step, the product is bottled and packaged in the establishment of the company.
